Dr. Archana Bansal
Dr. Archana Bansal, a seasoned ophthalmic surgeon, has dedicated 14 years of her career to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, a venerable institution in the region. She obtained her MBBS from NSCB Medical College in Jabalpur and pursued her postgraduate studies in ophthalmology at Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal. Dr. Bansal further honed her skills through fellowships in cataract surgery and oculoplasty at the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad.
Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Bansal has amassed vast experience in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of eye conditions. She has performed numerous surgeries, specializing in cataract removal using advanced techniques like phacoemulsification, as well as cosmetic procedures involving the eyelids and other external eye structures.
Her expertise in oculoplasty encompasses various surgeries addressing issues such as drooping eyelids, eyelid margin abnormalities, tear drainage obstructions, eyelid swelling or tumors, eye trauma repair, and cosmetic enhancements like Botox injections for blinking disorders and facial wrinkles.
In addition to her proficiency in oculoplasty, Dr. Bansal is highly skilled in cataract surgeries, having operated on thousands of patients at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. She is proficient in both Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) and phacoemulsification techniques, with extensive experience in implanting various types of lenses available in the Indian market.
